Every two years, the Latin American Poultry congress takes place in a different country of Latin America.
This year the XX LA Congress opened its doors in the FIERGES Convention Centre in Porto Alegre, Brazil, from the 25th-28th of September. The congress has proven to be an effective meeting place for the Latin American poultry industry.
A total of 180 exhibitors from all over the world displayed their latest products, 22,000 visitors from 43 countries walked the show floor and the 40 technical and scientific conferences attracted several top-level industry representatives.

Lohmann Animal Health’s Brazilian subsidiary, Lohmann Saúde Animal, did a great job in organising the presentation of Lohmann Animal Health at the fairground. During the whole 4 days of the exhibition the booth was very busy with customers, partners and future costumers, so that the booth created the opportunity to secure and strengthen business contacts, as well as to exchange new ideas and suggestions.
Next to this usual traffic at the booth, the organisers understood it again and again to attract the attention of the fair visitors with well placed highlights like a chocolate fountain and a raffle with the possibility to win an iPod.
