Description

This automatic syringe AviPro® INJECTOR is a precision, reliable and accurate all-metal-fixed-dosage instrument, designed for mass treatment of poultry. This product is for use with tube feeding that allows the injection of any kind of product for poultry and small animals. All the components are made of the finest materials, oil proof, non-corrosive; the valve is made of a stainless steel ball. The piston slides smoothly along the metal cylinder. It is supplied with 5 pistons of various sizes 0.1cc, 0.2cc, 0.25cc, 0.3cc, 0.5cc. All parts can be sterilized up to 125 °C.

The box contents:

  • AviPro® INJECTOR (with 0.5cc piston on it).
  • 4 pistons for 0.1cc, 0.2cc, 0.25cc, 0.3cc + key-pin.
  • Cannula – contains 2 needles, a long pumping needle, and a short air inlet needle.
  • Plastic tube for connecting the syringe to the cannula.
  • Spare parts kit.

Operating instructions

To set the dose:

  • In the box find key-pin (2020).
  • Open the body-cover (2013) by gripping it with your fingers and turn.
  • Press the piston – forward to its utmost position, and insert the key-pin into the
  • hole in the piston-shaft.
  • Grip the piston and unscrew it, and change to the one you need.
  • Tight the piston gently.
  • Take out the key-pin.
  • Put a drop of caster-oil on the piston’s O-ring.
  • Close the body-cover and tight it.

Before use:

Check that all screwed parts are tightened.

Make sure that the valve springs and washers are properly positioned into the base.

Preparing the vial for vaccination:

Insert the long cannula through the rubber cover; be sure to insert it up to the end.

Connect the plastic tube to the long cannula, on one end, and to the syringe inlet on the other end.

Insert the short cannula through the rubber cover, and let it be exposed, to let the air into the vial.

Operate the syringe handle until the vaccine is being pumped from the vial up to the syringe.

 

Very important: The two cannulaes must be used, as described above; otherwise the animal will not get the right amount of the vaccine.

The AviPro® INJECTOR is now ready for use.

Care and maintenance

Care and maintenance after use:

After each tie the syringe is being used, pump the syringe in clear water, 6-10 times, to remove any residues of the material from the body, needles, and tube (be careful not to get pricked by the needle).

Open the body cover, and wash all the parts in clear water. Open the luer lock needle adapter, and the tubing valve housing, and wash them in clear water.

Notes: Pay attention, and take good care not to loose the small parts, like valves, valve’s springs, and valve’s plastic washers.
